The idea of TWYA began in 2015, from a simple conversation that ended up shaping everything that came after. The idea of creating a brand stayed, but for years it didn’t make sense — something with real meaning was missing. There were attempts, names, concepts… but nothing truly fit. Until a simple idea came up: taking the slogan “The Way You Are” and reducing it to its initials. When the name appeared on a piece, everything clicked. TWYA wasn’t created on purpose. It was discovered. From that moment on, the brand began to be built over time — through testing, consistency, and patience. No shortcuts. No rush. Today, TWYA is the result of years of trial, error, and a clear vision.
Philosophy
There is something in every person that cannot be explained. It is not what they wear, not what they show, nor what others understand. It is a quiet way of existing. Over time, everything tries to give it a name—trends, rules, expectations—but something always escapes, something that doesn’t fit. And maybe that is what matters most. Not what adjusts, but what remains. The way someone dresses does not change that; it only makes visible what was already there, sometimes with intention, other times without thought.
